New York Comic Con attendees will be the first to see our 1:1 Replica of Captain Titus’ Chainsword from WarHammer 40,000: Space Marine. “The Chainsword is the preferred close combat melee weapon of the military forces of the Imperium of Man” ..”The weapon is designed to quickly slice through an opponent. These swords are very crucial in melee combat, allowing easy swipes to behead or rip an enemy in two.”
This will be the first in the WarHammer 40,000: Space Marine series from TriForce. Stop by and check it out at booth 1132.

It’s officially been one week since Gears of War 3 released and even before any of us had a chance to open the box, the game was critically acclaimed! G4TV gave Gears of War 3 a perfect 5 out of 5 and GT.TV gave Gears of War 3 a 9.4 out of 10. Unfortunatly, two amazing reviews weren’t helping us wait patiently. But now that it’s been a week perhaps you destroyed countless Locusts in Horde mod, or countless COGs in Beast mode (depending on your preference). Maybe you even Pwned some newbes in multiplayer. Or perhaps you just completed the game in 4 person Co-Op, it could only mean one thing…you can finally sleep! Or can you?
Well, all of you out there may be able to sleep, but we here at TriForce are still burning that midnight oil just for you.
TriForce has been working hard on getting Marcus Fenix on his way to the U.S and he will land here on October 2nd.

And like all of you, we’ve been playing Gears of War 3 non-stop for the past 24 hours! Just looking at the box for the Epic Edition had us floored, and once we opened it, it just got even better.

We won’t spoil anything for you, but WOW! This game has all the nuts and bolts. From the music composed by Steven Jablonsky, to the amazing storyline written by Karen Traviss. Cliffy B and everyone over at EPIC, we here at TriForce give you two thumbs up (if we had more thumbs, we’d give you more)!

Gears of War 3 is epic (no pun intended…maybe a little) conclusion to the five-year-old trilogy which stars Marcus Fenix, Dominic Santiago, Augustus “Cole Train” Cole and Damon Baird. And thanks to you, the fans, it’s going to be the biggest! As per VGChartz,Gears of War 3 has pre-sold over 1.9 million units right before the 12:01 A.M. release. Even though Microsoft and EPIC have yet to release precise number, we believe Gears of War 3 will be the top-sell game this trilogy.
Last night we had the pleasure of attending the Gears of War 3 launch party…and we didn’t come empty handed! That’s right we brought along our Gears of War 3 COG and Locust Snub Pistols. You all absolutely loved them! Welcome back to the Blog! Today is September 13, 2011, that means we are T-Minus eight days away from the launch of possibly the Game of The Year–Gears of War 3.
With possibly the Game of The Year coming out TriForce decided to give you a sneak peak unveiling. We unveiled not one, but two Gears of War 3 Snub Pistols. The first was a Blue LED lit COG version and the second was a RED LED lit Locust version. Thanks to you, the fans, we recieved a huge response for both.
Will you decide to join the COG, or the Locust Army? The choice is yours.
Back to Gears of War 3. While we’re all impatiently waiting, it looks like someone got a little present from EPIC and Cliffy B on September 7th. Let’s take a look.
Ice-T getting Gears of War 3 two weeks before anyone else. Can you say jealous? Well, we can. Also, that was a nice Lancer Assault Rifle he got. I wonder who made that? Oh yeah, that’s right, that’s our Gears of War 2 Lancer Assault Rifle.
This past week has been amazing for TriForce. Not only did we give you a sneak peek of our Gears of War 2 Snub Pistols and not only did our Gears of War 2 Lancer pop up in Ice-T’s unboxing video, but TriForce also popped up on television! Last night on “American Chopper: Junior vs. Senior” (Discovery channel, 9 p.m. EST) the guys started making a Gears of War bike for Cliffy B and EPIC. Take a look at one of the opening scenes from the show.

Just like all of you, we were in front of our televisions watching. It has been a year and seven months since our last post… and what a year and seven months it has been! Thanks to all of you Gears of War fans, we have officially sold out of our Gears of War 2 Locust Drone Marquette and are extremely, extremely close to selling out of our Gears of War 2 Lancer Assault Rifle. All of you are truly amazing and we thank you for your support!
So you’re probably all asking yourselves, “What has TriForce been doing in this past year and seven months?” Well, thankfully I’m here to tell you exactly that. We’ll start off with Gears of War 3. Epic Studios and TriForce have been working on an amazing collector’s piece for all of you. The piece will be available for those who purchase the Gears of War 3 Epic Edition when it is released on September 20th, 2011. A lot of man hours went into this piece because we want you, the fans, to have the best collectible there is (and we believe we did just that). Take a look for yourselves…
Marcus Fenix is the man! Speaking of Marcus, those of you wondering when you will see our Gears of War 2 Marcus Fenix Epic Scale Bust on your shelf, the wait is almost over. Stay tuned to our blog for more information regarding Marcus in the upcoming weeks.
Last, but certainly not least, for fans who attended San Diego Comic Con, E3 2011 or PAX Prime 2011, we here at TriForce thank you for the love and praise you gave our Gears of War 3 Life Size Marcus Fenix. A lot of hard work and effort went into creating and designing that piece and we are beyond happy that you loved it. For anyone who missed seeing the Life Size Marcus Fenix at those three events, if you are coming to the Gears of War 3 Launch Party in New York City, TriForce and our Life Size Marcus Fenix will be there in full force.

The Lancer Assault Rifle is the backbone to the COG military and has gone on to become one of the most iconic weapons in the history of viedogames. We had our work cut out for us when trying to recreate this incredibly intricate and absolutely lethal assault rifle. The COG workhorse is cast in high-grade polystone, measures 40 inches in length, weighs 15 pounds, and is fully realized with LED effects. The Lancer is 150% in game accurate to the source material from Gears of War 2 and is one of the most ambitious collectibles available on the market today. Every single bolt, chainsaw tooth, decal, ding, and spec of grease was given careful attention.
To further illustrate the sheer size of this awe inspiring piece of COG ordinance, Erick Sosa art director of TriForce is shown wielding the Lancer Assault Rifle prototype as he preps for combat.
Gearheads buckle up; you are in for one hell of a ride!
Chris Perna, art director of Epic Games, is a name any hardcore Gearhead worth his salt would instantly recognize. Working with a sculpture Chris had masterfully created we knew we were providing Gears of War fans with a truly unique and exciting piece. In creating our first Gears of War collectible we wanted to guarantee Gears fans the highest level of quality and authenticity. We knew we had the quality we were looking for as soon as we saw the fearsome Locust Drone for the first time. As for the authenticity, well lets just say you cant get much more authentic than releasing a design maquette from one of the creative masterminds at Epic Games for the masses to enjoy. In order to keep up with the level of quality that had been laid before us, we knew we had to do something special.
To compliment the raw power of this dynamic sculpt we brought in Jordu Schell, one of the most talented and prolific Hollywood special effects creators the world has ever seen, to paint and bring the vile Locust beast to life. Jordu’s credits in addition to working for TriForce include the feature films Avatar, Aliens vs. Predator Requiem, 300 and many others. Talk about a tag team of Epic proportions, no pun intended!
Welcome to the official TriForce Blog! This being the first entry, we wanted to bring you up to speed on what we have been up to since we launched Project TriForce.
The most straightforward way to explain it: The TriForce development team which is comprised of some of the best effects people in Hollywood and the most prolific sculptors in the industry have been working closely with the incredibly talented team at Epic Games to bring you the most authentic Gears of War collectibles possible.
I want to stop here and let you know we plan to make some new exciting product announcements in the coming months! We will be keeping all you Gearheads updated regularly, so stay tuned to the official TriForce Blog for more news, previews, and behind the scenes access!
